7:15am - Registration/Breakfast

7:30am - Program

Employee lawsuits, particularly disability-related lawsuits involving mental health conditions, are  on the rise.  Many employers find themselves in difficult legal positions because they do not understand the interactions between state and Federal FMLA and the interactive process required by the ADA/Wisconsin law.  This program will present a practical roadmap  for managing the relationship between FMLA and the ADA/Wisconsin disability law and will highlight common employer missteps.  This program will also address how worker’s compensation adds an additional layer of complexity to these issues.  This program will  help you avoid FMLA errors, curb FMLA misuse, improve your disability accommodation process and inform you of best practices to assist you.
