While some view mindfulness as a fluffy, esoteric and touchy-feely fad, mindfulness or mind-skill training is gaining traction as a valuable practice, particularly as employers look for ways to support employee resilience and build the mental agility needed for these turbulent times.

Join Michelle Spehr for a conversation about the emerging practice of mindfulness in the workplace, the mindful leadership movement and the positive impact mindfulness skills can have on individual, team, and organizational performance.   She will share insights from researchers and practitioners who have established the effectiveness of mindfulness strategies for enhancing employee resilience, emotional intelligence, empathy, creativity, and mental focus.  Michelle will also address how mindfulness can improve how employees work together and nurture a workforce so individuals feel engaged, inspired and thrive professionally even when many are working from home.  If you’re curious about mindfulness and want to learn specific strategies for fostering mindfulness at your organization, this is a workshop you will not want to miss!

  1. Participants will be introduced to the mindfulness and mindful leadership movement and explore how the related practices improve individual and organizational performance.
  2. Participants will learn about a variety of mental skills training exercises that can enhance mental focus, resilience, emotional intelligence, empathy, and creativity in the workplace.
  3. Participants will leave with practical resources they can use to continue exploring the concept of mindfulness and mindful leadership after the conference.
